Clicked on the little thing that says see all posts by bigsexy and saw that the synopsis of your posts and saw that you asked about the PT standards for FPS, Gwinnet Co, Stafford Co, and Fairfax Co. I apologize for thinking and subsequently stating that it appears you are concerned about your current level of physical fitness.

I alos apologize for saying that what you say on the internet might come back on you. GGG was not my original screen name on this site. I killed off my original when someone filed an IA complaint against me. I was called in and a stack of print outs of many of my postings were dropped in front of me and I had to explain why I got into an internet arguement about the lawful authority of Conservators of the Peace. See, I offended a security guard and he called IA to complain about me being a big old meanie. IA said it was unfounded, and that I had done nothing wrong, but... You see, anything you do that draws public notice will come back on you unless you are being hailed a hero for saving some old ladies kitten from a burning building. So, while they did not want to attempt to deny me my 1st Amendment right, they made it very clear that if anyone knows what agency I work for, anything and everything I say can be construed as being an official statement from that agency.

So yes, I am an LEO from Va and reading through my posts you can infer that I work in NoVa. Luckily for me, there are many agencies in NoVa and we all work closely together, so we all know a bit about each other, so I can comment on most questions about all the agencies. I am careful to NOT say who I work for or make any comments that are agency specific. I do this for a very good reason. Once bitten, twice shy and all that.
Honestly you did, because you implied something that was not the truth!!! If I was you and you was me I would've handled that conversation alittle different thats all i'm saying. But I'm an adult, so I've moved past it. But in reading what you said about your conservations with your IA I can understand your reasoning for being a bit on the cautious side when it comes to screen name.

Like you said GGG about not releasing who you work for and stuff, I think its fine when you are starting out in law enforcement, because you are excited about it, but I wouldn't go ranting and raving about it, only to people you trust, and I wouldn't put all kinds of Support Law Enforcement Thin Blue Line stuff all over your car, you are just showing the people who hate people like us where you are. Especially when you get further in your career, its even more important, because you've arrested more and more people, and they \ now know your name and when they get out, they WILL go looking for you and they WILL kill you.

Errr....if some of you folks bother to do a search on here for "BigSexy" you will find out that name belongs to a former USMC, Border Patrol, FAM, and now with a three lettered LEO Agency 1811.......

He doesn't hang out here that much any more.....but I seriously doubt that his use of that screen name has affected his career over the years.....since he posts here, at RP, at 911, and several other places on the 'Net.......

    Back to your regular programing.......

I appreciate your comments!!! Normally I would have disregarded comments such as those but I couldn't lay my head down without commenting!!! Like I said I respect him as a fellow Law Enforcement Officer but his other comments is for the birds!!!

Nothing like putting things into perspective, huh? Anyway, don't sweat it. We all have our little quirks - and anyone "in the know" at one's agency is not really going to worry about an Internet screen name.

I believe there are obviously more pressing issues when it comes to character, background checks, IAD, etc., etc.

Don't sweat the petty things and don't pet the sweaty things.

    Bigsexy,

2 bits of advice for you. First, consider a different screen name. This things have a tendency to come back and bite you. Second, 90% of your posts are asking about PT for various academies. Start working out and get in shape instead of searching for an academy that has a low PT standard.
I have a few things I need to point out!! Excuse me if I get alittle long winded but GGG my screen name is my screen name!! I appreciate your comments regarding my name but please let me handle this, and if a problem arise with my name then I'll deal with it. As far as me introducing myself as bigsexy you gotta be crazy to think that I would go in there and say hello my name is bigsexy!!!. 2nd why would Internal Affairs ask me anything about a screen name? I am not on here with a name that offends, or demeans anybody. I don't have any problems about any answering questions about any part of my life when the time arives SIR!! Internal Affairs have other things to worry about then somebodies screen name on a public forum. Besides I don't think that's going to be one of the polygraph questions that I might have to worry about, and if so I think I could handle that explanation!! Should MPSSNIPER change their name?? Considering the fact that the DC Snipers were from that area? Who cares if he's a state trooper!!! He has SNIPER in his name (Sorry MPSSNIPER for using you as an example)but for what you are saying his Internal Affairs might be interested in him when he's up for promotion!!! And speaking of promotion your work should speak for itself when it comes to getting promoted if you know your policy and your procedures and if you have demonstrated these abilities to your supervisor 's then it really shouldn't matter. 3rd I am in Law Enforcement!!! I have already been though an academy before so going through one again won't be an issue SIR!!! So me trying to find a academy with the lowest PT standard is stupid! 4th why are you looking into my previous posts?? You don't have anything else to do in your spare time than to look up my previous posts? That sounds like you might need a life?? Get one please and leave mine alone!!! Are you Internal Affairs?? If not then please leave it to the professionals!!! If you are a fairfax sheriff's deputy the only thing you could have about the PT said was get the job and find out! Atleast thats what I would say to somebody inquiring about something like that. So for you to imply what you implied and think that it was going to be the end because you said "Take it for what it is worth and I am leaving it at that" I think you might have been sniffing alittle bit to much of that OC spray! I see that you are a Law Enforcement Officer from Va. and I respect that, but we are supposed to have a bit of professionalism about ourselves at all time. Rather we are on duty or not we are a direct reflection of our respective Department's or Offices. I do apologize to the people who are reading this post it was not my intention to offend anybody but this was just something I just had to get off my chest.

Take it for what it is worth and I am leaving it at that.

Would she want to introduce herself to the Sheriff as "BigSexy"? I would wager not. My point is to not say anything here you do not want IA to know about, and not have a screen name that will make you look silly to the people who decide your promotions and other positive personnel actions.

Take it for what it is worth and I am leaving it at that.

I seriously doubt a screen name like "Bigsexy" can hurt anyone. It's neither racist or offensive.

They generally patrol the courthouse, detention center, and the parking lot areas around them.

Good luck & remember that all LEOs are kindred spirits, whether you wear a star or a shield.

I am the guilty person, thank you for clearing that up I will most definately keep that it mind!!
