Houston PD is offering $10,000 for an applicant. Money will be divided as follow. Academy Start: $2,500 to be paid within 30 days of beginning the Police Academy
Mid-way: $2,500 to be paid after completing three months in the Police Academy
Completion: $5,000 to be paid after completion of the 6-month Police Academy and TCOLE requirements

By contrast, San Francisco California has elected TEN Republican Mayors, Portland Oregon has elected 23 Republican Mayors, and Seattle Washington has elected 32 Republican Mayors.
