  • Texas PD - College credits?

Hi just curious, i was looking at the Austin PD requirements to become a police officer and I didnt see anything about college credits needed to become a PO. Do you need credits get into LE in Texas or no? Thank you.

Each Department is different. The only department in Texas that has college as a requirement by State Law is Houston.

So that means im good in Austin, which is great...Another question...I have bipolar disorder, but i am medicated since i was 22, im 33 now. I have been reading around and some places say it depends on the agency and some say its a hard disqualification so i am looking for a clear answer on this. Thank you

You are either trolling or you lack the aptitude to be a police officer if you can't find the phone number.

                C) Graffiti Removal
                D) Animal Cruelty
                E) Recruiting
                F) Executive Protection Detail

Well, at least you seem to have a sense of humor.

Seriously though, you're going to have to learn to problem-solve and pay attention to detail. Good luck.
