Hey all.

Got a question for you. We had an incident the other night where some kids were running around lighting bags of human waste on fire on peoples door steps. They also had airsoft guns, and almost got shot by one of our LTs when they turned around with said toy in hand.

SO, after the whole thing, we were discussing what the best offense to go with would be. There were a lot of ideas, and none of them seemed to fit just right. Just wondering what everyone's thoughts on this would be. Don't want to influence anyones train of thought on this by posting the offenses that we discussed.

Also, I was wondering if anyone knows a law that would deal with the human waste aspect of the situation specifically. Maybe something in the HSC? Couldn't find anything like that. Surely there is something that talks about the proper disposal of human waste.

offense if he threatens to commit any offense involving violence to
any person or property with intent to:
(1) cause a reaction of any type to his threat[0] by an
official or volunteer agency organized to deal with emergencies;

bodily injury;
(3) prevent or interrupt the occupation or use of a
building, room, place of assembly, place to which the public has
access, place of employment or occupation, aircraft, automobile, or
other form of conveyance, or other public place;
(4) cause impairment or interruption of public
communications, public transportation, public water, gas, or power
supply or other public service;
(5) place the public or a substantial group of the
public in fear of serious bodily injury; or
(6) influence the conduct or activities of a branch or
agency of the federal government, the state, or a political

(b) An offense under Subsection (a)(1) is a Class B
misdemeanor.
(c) An offense under Subsection (a)(2) is a Class B

I don't think Terroristic Threat would fly on this one and the good thing about criminal mischief is that it doesn't have to be monetary, it just has to cause a significant inconvenience.

Also, if any type of minor damage to the property occurs, you can always always always go with Reckless Damage and Destruction.
