Just received my email as well. It did note the application is still be processed but I am required to attend the new hire orientation on Monday Jan 14th.

Agreed concerning the immediate area around the academy. It’s not a good place. Woodlands is really nice. Katy is prettt affordable too but you’ll need EZ tag if you want to take 99 or Sam Houston toll roads up.

I’ll be committing from FAR west lol.

I'll be having an hour plus drive to academy.

Gabru I’m in the same boat. About an hour and a half ish. I’m going to be getting there super early because we both know traffic picks up in a heartbeat.

Also if we dont get approved this week, I'm curious as to how we are going to be able to get our gear next week since we can't yet.

Just got the call I was not approved and was not given a reason. Good luck to everybody. Kick *** in the academy for me.
