  • Are FEMA classes required for TCLEOSE?

Is it true that these classes are required for TCLEOSE? Im getting conflicting answers.

The class will cover the required FEMA course
    100, 200, 700, and 800.

IS-100.LE - Introduction to the Incident Command System, I-100, for Law Enforcement
IS-200 ICS for Single Resources and Initial Action Incidents
IS-700 National Incident Management System (NIMS), An Introduction
IS-800.A National Response Plan (NRP), An Introduction
"An officer has the confidence to stand alone, the courage to make tough decisions, and the compassion to listen to the needs of others. He does not set out to be a leader, but becomes one by the quality of his actions and the integrity of his intent."

I had to take those a few months back. I heard they were for Federal Grants for your department. Dont think they are required by TCLEOSE.

I think it is required for grants. We had to take the online courses.
The Republicans need to shrug off this Christian Coalition noose it has placed around its own neck and recognize the fact that, though they may not realize it, the majority of Americans are actually quite libertarian in their philosophy. They also need to learn to fight once in a while. What a bunch of wimps.

Even as a civilian employee, I had to take a couple of the tests. As bikecop and red raider said... it's for grants.
