Hey guys, new to the forum and am in the process of applying to HPD.. Well the pre-process.. I'm getting transcripts etc together. I've always wanted to be a LEO but everyone always told me not to.. But now I'm at a point in my life where I don't care what people say. It would be a pay cut (at least at first) from what I'm doing now, but I'm not doing it for the money anyway.

I'm 24, in decent shape, grew up in Houston, business degree, no crimes to speak of except a few speeding tickets (all either paid/dismissed/or defensive driving) when I was younger. What do my chances look like?
