Our basic requirements are:
*48 semester hours of college, or
*an honorable discharge from the military, or
*5 years full-time law enforcement.

Depending on your background and your location, the process can take 4 to 8 weeks.

HCSO's is pretty quick. You have to go through the normal interview, polygraph, background etc.,.usually takes around 3 months.
