Quick search will provide everything you need to know. I have heard applicants mention there were hints of racism towards white applicants.

As for myself, I made a minor error on my personal history statement and got banned for life...even though I corrected the issue with the B.I. and he claimed it to be an "honest mistake." Oh well, I guess. My Border Patrol B.I. thought it was strange to be disqualified for the mistake, much less banned to ever apply again.

Just saw another posting on TML that Dart is hiring again...certified and non-cert officers.

Looks like pretty good salary (coming from someone who works in the panhandle where we get payed crap) 42 starting for non cert and 44 starting for cert.

I dont know much about how DART officers are viewed, much about the department but it might be a good gig w/pretty good pay benefits (from what little I have read)

This is not my personel opion, but the general consensus o officers opinions I've heard over the years. And that is generally nobody takes dart of very seriously, and they are looked at as armed security basically.
