"Basic Texas Peace Officer" book

Has anyone purchased this before? Is it recommended in preparing for the TCLEOSE? Anyone that has a copy interested in selling?

Is it a tan book that is very thick and paperback? If so, they issued that to us at the academy and it was opened maybe 3 times... I'll look to see if I still have it and if so I'll sell it to you for the cost of shipping via mediamail (aka like $3).

Some of the cadets in my class say its very helpful. I have it but have never really looked at it. It does come with a cd that has all the practice tests. The cd is awesome and really helps. I have a 93 ave and I'm taking my basic final tomorrow.

I used this in the academy and passed TCLEOSE with a 94... I say it was all because of that book.... There is a new version out now, I believe it runs $150.00 or the version 11 on Amazon for $85. I tell everyone I know about that book.

I never opened 1 book while studying for TCLEOSE, in fact I studied for maybe 2 or 3 hours at the most. All I used was some material I put together and some study guides from different academies.

I didn't go through a Texas academy, I challenged TCLEOSE. I was in the high 80's when I took my test, I don't remember excatly but I want to say 88%

I took TECLEOSE this morning. If you study the free Victoria College tests...you'll do just fine. Many of the questions from Victoria were on the test today.

If you're on a budget this may be the way to go.
