Are USDM hiring again??

Plenty of people have informed me that USDM wont be hiring again for a while but not too long ago I got told by some Police Officers here in Houston and Katy that they are going to start hiring again in about 2 months... Does anyone know anything about this?? I have a contact with USDM who has been telling me the same but Im a man of short patience and so I got on this forum and was told that the hiring window in Houston was done and there wouldnt be another for quite some time. But when this Officers told me this I started to think otherwise especially since my USDM contact keeps telling me the same.

Region 5 is running a recruiting drive soon. Check the website daily. This does not include Houston. Only North Texas.

I got told by an actual Marshal here on the forums that more than likely the hiring windows for all regions are pretty much done and over and there wont be anymore for quite some time. But my USDM contact is a big dog here in Houston and keeps telling me to wait because there's another one opening up soon before the year ends. So I was a my bro's middle school football game and was talking to a few police officers and they told me Marshals will start hiring in a couple of months again so that falls before the year ends like my contact had told me.
