    Thanks for the link. Austin PD is 3.2% per year but it appears as if TMRS is not as simple.

    not sure, but where i work 7% is taken out (no choice) and at 5 yrs your vested and city matches 2 to 1

    I have searched their website yet have not found the answer.

    How much percentage do you get per service year? (towards retirement)

    For example: Washington State is two percent per year.

    What is TMRS?
