Question on Lavergne PD

Does anybody know much about this dept? Wondering how much they pay compared to other depts in the area...ie Smyrna, Brentwood, Franklin, etc

Do they have take homes? Assigned cars that are left at the office? Morale? I have tried to gather info from their website, but there isn't much on the site. Thanks for any info you can pass on

I have friend that works for Lavergne PD... I don't know what the starting pay is. They do have take home cars if you live inside the city, great insurance benefits and they work 12's. From what he has told me, he likes it there very much..

They were hiring but they removed the post Sept. 16th. I think they start out around $14 but the insurance is great

The starting pay is 13.78.

Take home cars in basically a twelve mile radius from the city (roads are used as the boundaries). If you live oustide the radius you can park at another government facility. Rutherford sheriff or a fire hall but if you live in Wilson county their fire dept will not let you park at their stations.

Health, Dental And Vision have no employee premiums. There is a medical deductible (300 for single 600 for family).

Patrol is working 12 hr shifts right now but are probably going back to 4 tens soon.
