I’ve heard that the panel only looks at people that weren’t referred by the BI. So My background guy never came with any issues to me and all I heard was that “it’s looking good” so I assume if you haven’t heard anything you’re good. It’s just a time game now

Not sure how accurate that is about the panel only looking at those not recommended. My current Chief was a Major in PSP, said they usually go with the recommendation of the BI. But, if they don't there is an appeal panel, which could be what you're referring to.

Has anyone 1-150 heard anything following their background good or bad? Any thoughts on how we’ll be notified if it’s a no? I’ve read that snail mail would be sent out but I’ve also seen people say they received emails as well.

I ranked 280 and I haven’t heard back from anyone since my background. I believe now if you haven’t heard back saying that you’re disqualified, I would assume you’re good to go And that you’ll hear back within the next two weeks on medical information.

That is just my assumption. There’s no way they would wait weeks to DQ you. As long as there was no issues with your background that came up, (Which you should know about) then you’re good I’m sure

Has anyone ranked higher than 800 heard anything about submitting the PSB? The original email said it was to be completed by 07/09/2021 but did not say where it should be sent. I’m hoping I didn’t miss something.

PSB will be sent to your polygraph examiner. They will contact you by phone. They will ask you to send it to them by email and to also print out another copy to bring in with you in case they can not print it out.

I was in the 9**s and was contacted about a week after we got that email, maybe they’re just slow man, I wouldn’t worry to much about it. I think there’s only 5 polygraphers in the state depending on where u live they might have 300 people who still need to go before you.

I believe they said around 4 September. We should be hearing back any day now from BI I’m hoping.
