PA Civil Service Security Officer

I read the general info for the Security Officer position on the Civil Service site but does anyone have anymore specific info like what places you actually work or anything else?

PA Civil Servie Security Officer

Looked at this several years back before my academy. I believe many of the positions are centered in the Harrisburg area, and in state office buildings if there is one in your area.

Some of the jobs are at the state hospitals

Taken from the job announcement:

There are currently 135 filled positions. There are 21 positions in Harrisburg (Dauphin County); the remaining positions are located throughout the state. Most of these remaining positions are in state hospitals and youth development centers. About 10 vacancies are expected to be filled during the next 12 months.

So as the poster above said, some are at the state hospitals. Some are also at juvenille correction facilities.
