    yesterday at the physical fitness test, they told us the class in october is going to be around 200.

    www.policepay.net. The troooperpay site was consolidated with this one and now they make you pay to view contact info. It used to be free, back in the day, but now you have to join the site to view the database.

    Does any one know the salary scale for the Pa State Police? Do they still have life time medicial?
    I know there used to ber a web site that had PSP's contract on it showing pay scale, vacations, benefits, etc. I think it was www.trooperpay.net or .com or .org. I tried all three and got nothing. MAybe someone else out there knows the site I'm talking about.

    Yes, as of a week ago I was told that after considering all who are on a waiting list from the previous testing period, there are only 17 vacancies for the June class. So unless you're current ranking is 25 or below, then October starts to look like the focal point. This appears to be where I stand as well. I'm trying to finish up my medical packet so it could be shipped back to Harrisburg. I'm scheduled for my physical in Hershey on May 11th. Good luck to all involved!!!

    Based on tua's posting, the June class has been filled or filling up quickly. I knew my chances of getting into the June class were slim after speaking with HR last week. Six months and counting! Atleast I know when the next class begins. Looks like one of those 160 spots could be mine after the med and psych clearance. Thanks for the info and good luck to all!

    I just got off the phone with PSP HR. The lady told me that the next Academy Class begins October 22nd with 160 cadets. There is a hiring panel tomorrow so all of us who haven't heard anything yet should be getting letters soon!! Good luck everyone!
