Alrighty - now that the 139th is all settled in on The Hill, I guess we should get talking about the 140th!

I saw in the 139th thread that the Med/Psych might be taking place in June? It's been just over 2 months since my BI was submitted...very excited to hear that we're still moving along.

On a side note: those of you watching this thread should read through the thread "PA State Police Class 139" if you haven't already. There is a TON of valuable information in there if you take the time to read through it all.

I was following the 139th thread because I thought/hoped I was going to be in that class. The thread is definitely worth a read.

I tested last year, had my Poly in Dec, with my BI completed in late Jan. A recruiter told my group at PRT that the invited list for PRT was 1300 strong. My rank heading into PRT was in the 840s. Is anyone that missed the cut for the 139th in the 600s or 700s?? Just curious....

Yes....I was 60* to be exact. Completed BI in early February.

Yeah BlueWhite I was passed over as well. But I ranked in the low 900's so it makes sense. I hope they get to me for the 140th. I don't how low they went in rank for the 139th. Anyone know?

I am in the same boat as you Jah1Mon. I know I will pass the background because I do not have any skeletons on my closet but its still nerve racking waiting for the response. I cannot wait to get up there.

Not to scare you too much, but you'd be surprised what some departments consider a "skeleton" in the closet.
