    There is one Legislative restriction on Officers of 3rd Class Towns.

    The answer is yes. I know several municipal officers who are also constables. Some departments may place restrictions on the the ablility to hold an elecctive office but there is no statutory prohibition against the practice.

    Can a PA municipal police officer simultaneously act as a Constable? I'm pretty sure its "no" but I just wanted to get some thoughts.
