Is there any major construction from NY (Binghamton) to Wilkes Barre PA on 1-81? Is there a website I can check?

I would try Traffic.com. I am not positive but I think you can sign up for cell phone and/or email updates.

There almost might be a Tourist Information Station on the AM dial that you can listen to in the car. I am not sure what it is but maybe someone up that way knows the station.

There is almost always construction between Clarks Summit and Wilkes-Barre this time of year. Sometimes they do night construction, but that area is almost always congested this time of the year.

Yes. LOTS OF IT. Both directions. Bridge construction Soutbound from 211 to Clarks Summit. I have been stuck in traffic anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour +. Good luck.

Came home last night and yes 1-81 should be renamed with Construction in its title..........otherwise, had a wonderful time.
