Got the physical test on Saturday at 10 am.

Congrats and good luck. Just took the physical this past Saturday. The 300m is really deceiving and a lot of people came really close to failing because of it.

Anybody know when we are supposed to start POBITS? curious to when the emails will go out to start the background process

I have not received mine and I took the physical back in Sept. I assume it will be sometime in Dec/Jan

Passed the polygraph. Man was that intimidating. Oral Board scheduled for February.

Nah I wore business casual for the polygraph because that’s what the email said to wear.

Just finished the oral board. I think it went really well. It was not as bad as I thought it was gonna be.

They told me there is gonna be 3 academies this year. June, Sept, and Dec. Lots of opportunity.

That’s correct on the three academy’s. If your moving through the process fairly quickly I would expect you to be in June or September. The applicant pool/testing is moving to more of a year round hiring instead of the typical July processing. we NEED quality people. The process is much easier than it used to be (not even two years ago was much more difficult). Take it seriously tho.

oral board has significantly changed too to you all are very lucky.

Easier in the sense that they’ve changed the oral board format slightly. Let’s just say you used to always feel like you were worthless after the oral board.
