was recently on the internet looking at my family roots,
they are from the area , but granddaddy left inthe 1920 's to chicago,
seen a lotta property and houses cheap, but i'd imagine the area may
me a bit depressed for jobs...

but i may move their to retire....lol...........

diversity is ok....but in south fla...i just about had it.....

I don't know much about that area but it is a really scenic area. Very beautiful. If you have a pension check coming in and can get some cheap land- go for it. Just know the winters there are not anything like Fla. Although that area of Ohio has more mild winters than here or north.

my pension is around $50,000 a year.....
so i will be only 48 when retire,,,,,maybe i'll run into a
rich cousin their...

I'd say $50K a year down there would get you pretty far.
