Columbus PD Pay Scale

Would anyone feel comfortable sharing the Columbus PD pay scale for the supervisory ranks? It stops at a fourth year officer on the recruiting website.

Im just curious because I read a relatively recent article about some lieutenants retiring and it said they were all making in the 80-90k range. I found that odd because that’s near what a fourth year officer tops out at and I assumed it would go up dramatically once you hit the supervisor ranks.

Your assumption is correct that the supervisors are paid more than what was reported.
I do not know for sure the exact salaries but thought the LT was low 100s and the Commanders were in the mid 100s.

Officer tops at $42.12/hr. Couldn't find range so not sure if it is start/mid/top but SGT is $49.70/hr, LT is $58.65/hr, and CDR is $69.21/hr.

Each jump in rank is an 18% pay increase from the previous rank.
