  • Break in Service question.

Anyone have a link to the guidelines for updated training. Specifically worked for a department but have had break in service that is almost a year. What is the updated training required after 1 year in break of service.

Go watch the latest "Cops" marathon. Once you're done, you should be back up to speed.

Kidding aside, why not contact HR at your previous or prospective agency. They should be able to tell you what needs to be done.
Getting shot hurts! Don't under estimate the power of live ammo. A .22LR can kill you! I personally feel that it's best to avoid being shot by any caliber. Your vest may stop the bullet, but you'll still get a nice bruise or other injury to remember the experience.
