Does anyone know of any police departments that's hiring in Southwestern Ohio? Or any department that is suppose to hire in 2011?

That's a tough one. Fairfield and Norwood just gave tests, however, I don't know if they'll be hiring anytime soon. Fairfield Township always takes apps-pay would be lower than what you're making with the city right now though. Metroparks (Butler County) is hiring part-time rangers-but again, pretty low pay and not full-time. My agency (VA Medical Center) might be hiring in the coming months-PM me for more info if you're interested.

They were going to layoff, but they passed a new budget for this year. no layoffs for now. They are already saying there will be more extensive cuts next year.
