Has anyone ever switched from police and fire pension to PERS-LE?
was it a pain or was it a pretty easy thing to do?
Also, did they take you one-for-one with service time?

I went the other way from PERS to Police and Fire. It was pretty simple, I just gave all the paper work to the fiscal officer who inturn faxed the info to the appropriate places. All I had to do after that was call and confirm it. And yes it was one-for-one. Hopefully it works just as seamlessly for you

PERS to OP&F is 1 to 1, OP&F to PERS is NOT 1 to 1.. PERS is run better and they know it, I want to say it's somewhere in the neighborhood of 1 to 3/4, meaning you'll retain 75% of your earned time.
Seriously, the only reason I wanted to be a cop was so I could post anywhere on this forum.
