"Ole Man On the Porch" by retired Trooper Bryan Gregory

I read "Trooper Down" shortly after it was published when I was in grade school living in New Jersey. Good read.

I liked Trooper Down, but was not as fond of Ole Man on the Porch.

I felt like TD was a more realistic view of day to day life on the Patrol vs. one man's take on things.

I really enjoyed reading it. It gave me a good idea of how the Patrol was in the 70's and 80's. I highly reccommend it!

Anybody read this book. I have heard "Officer Down" is good aswell.
