I looked at the schedule, seems the exam will be given from March 8th - April 1st and the PT test will be given throughout April. Can we pick dates in the range or do they give them to us ?

Also there’s an accelerated academy for NYPD ? Or there may be one ? What’s the difference between the two

They’ve only done 1 accelerated academy and i heard they aren’t doing it anymore

My understanding is that If your name is pulled in the lottery you get to take the exam and can move on to the next steps if you pass. If your name is not selected the process ends right there.

Do you know when the lottery process is? I remember someone telling me March 4 but I could be wrongly mistaken.

Based off the timeline they put out, the lottery draw should be today. (March 4th)
