This, that is a temporary list # that they are using. If you really wish to know your list # it's on the blanket covid vaccine email that they sent out. Mine is 496

The NYPD is expecting to hire over 1000 officers this October so they need a lot of people to get clear. I don't know if you will make it because instigation alone takes around 6 months to a year but of course, everything is case by case.

It was announced during their NYPDRecuit Live stream on Instagram by one of the LTs. The goal number that she mentions is around 1050. I am in the final step, currently waiting for my mini med and job offer email, which comes during the first week of October. The academy day is the 13 of October.

nypdrecruit@ is having a live stream at 1 PM TOMORROW with Sgt. Sinnona (Candidate Relations) & Dr. Brown (Psychological Assessment Section). If you have any questions you can ask them live. I hear of the Pre-Appointment Notification" letter from one of the guys that they received.

Well, it goes in order. The first to get them are "promoted" employees like cadets, TEA, and SSA. Them you have the general public or "open competitor". In open competition, there are some priorities like military and age of the test. Now at the end of the day, any spots that are still open will go to whoever is fully clear to be hired, regardless of who has a higher list number than their other. Any other major questions you have I would recommend calling the Candidate Assessment Center at (718) 312-4226 during the hours of 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday, or email [email protected]. they will not stop hiring until the final day. You could even get hired the same day which is the 12 of October.
