My best guess is transfer calls will be made the same week as revision..
that’s what they’ve done the past few revision dates..

So expect the first week of November

New class came in this Sunday, next one might come in the next 2 weeks since a class graduating this Friday

Gotcha. I have another job offer if this doesn’t work out. Just holding out for this as I don’t want to screw up the process and wasn’t sure if they were running continuous academy’s or not

Ilovenewyork when I took the questionnaire (test) I score Pretty high that they called me the next day for processing and when I finished processing sept 1st. They called me exactly 1 month and 3 weeks for academy

How bad are the prisons now?

What's the schedule like? 5 8 hrs? 3 12 hrs?

When do you get breaks? Or do you not get a break?

It’s 8 hour shifts
If your not swapping shifts, your most likely getting mandated to work another 8

Every jail is mandating, some more than others.

No breaks.
U basically eat/take a break when you get a chance.

Morale is/has always been very low.
Low staffing
Ppl are quitting or retiring left and right & academies are def not keeping up..
High mandating
There’s been no transfers so no one is transferring home

What are some of the subjects in the Academic classes and are they challenging or is it about paying attention?

You learn everything as in doccs directives, weapons, civil law, powers of peace officer, it’s a lot you learn so it’s really just staying up and paying attention.
