Any inside information as to when the academy should be starting back up? Last I heard it was supposed to be April of 2021. They've started the agility and physical part of hiring again. Prayerfully the academy is coming soon. I called my investigator and he said he hasn't heard anything.

We have been told that the academy will start back up on April 12, 2021.. from the Union, NYSCOPBA

Yea we on the inside are hearing April 12th for those who were in the academy at the time it shut down in last March .. don’t know if they’ll keep running it or shut it down again ..

Any new updates with this? I have been completely done with the process since Jan. '20. Just waiting on an academy date lol

Yeah I’m also waiting on the academy been done since December every one keeps saying after April 12 .. but I also heard there was a class in the academy that was cut short so they might finish that one first

I was reinstated, so I’m not sure what exam that would fall under currently. I took the 2019 exam. There is going to be more than one academy this year.

Hang in there, the wait times were long before the covid fiasco and now it’s even worse. There is word that there will be more than one academy this year, I hope you hear something soon!
