Depends on the outcome of your CCRB, it will also need to be closed out before MTA will hire you.

Me personally I would rather take it knowing I’m not ready and push my self to the best than to defer it and they don’t do another physical off the list. Gotta take the gamble sometimes.

That does NOT mean your background is completed. Sometimes it is not completed until well after someone starts in the academy. It is not unheard of to get fired while in the academy due to background issues.
