HighwayBob Do you or anyone else know how many roll overs they are going to hire in July and what time frame in July? (Early-mid-end of July).

What's "a while ago"? I would think you would be notified of a failure. Did you ask your investigator?

HighwayBob About a month ago. I have since passed the medical and just waiting on the Psych. I wasn't really concerned until you said a lot of cops fail. I can't imagine why I would have though. I spoke to my investigator for my monthly check in. They asked me what tests I have taken, so they had no idea,Last edited by superrobocop; 06-10-2021, 02:40 PM.

You wouldn't have been scheduled for anything else if you had failed the poly, and your investigator certainly would have known you failed.

Yes, what’s this mean ? You mean a new written test?
-
I assume he means "Applicant Investigations Section" but that's not what it's called. We don't have "sections". We just call it Applicant Investigations.
-
Sorry yes, highway bob is right. Yes they mentioned it
-
Is this true ? Can anyone else confirm ?

I'm not sure what you mean - how can they limit the test to people who weren't selected to take the last one. Or am I totally misunderstanding you?
-
So you don’t get it either. Yes, you’re understanding it correctly. This is as per a Sgt in the MTA Police Department not someone in Applicant Investigations. It made no sense to me either that they would just have a test for people who weren’t selected from the lottery. I think they should do away with the lottery anyway.
-
The lottery should be done away with, absolutely. It's a relatively recent development and one that makes no sense to me.

Am I able to push off the process until the next academy similar to what nypd does ? I have my panel interview this week.

A Sgt from applicant investigations said a test will be out in 2022. There’s been a lot of conflicting info over this so if anyone hears something different please share and say your source

HighwayBob Hey does anyone know when you would hear back from your poly? Like how long after the test?

Took the physical fitness exam yesterday and I got this information from two MTA personnel. The first individual (didn’t notice his rank) stated that there WILL be a exam coming up during the summer. He didn’t specify weather it will be this year or the following, but he was pretty adamant about the test coming out. The next individual, a Sergeant, stated that there will indeed be a test coming out but during the summer of next year. Interpret this information as you please.

Took my physical last July. Got finger printed a few weeks ago. Waiting on medical and psych. Any updates on a July hire. My investigator said they were looking to put a rollover class in for July. But no confirmation.
