I'm assuming they're probably going in some type of alphabetical order or something. They definitely can't mass mail that. Can someone post a screen shot of the email they received.

Did everyone that got invited to the panel interview get the email at the same time? Isn’t everyone suppose to get a panel interview, per HighwayBob.

There was like 5k people that took the test on December 15th, and they had a morning and afternoon session. I felt like an old man, nothing but college kids, all in their early 20s. I’m guessing they just got on NYPD..
now I don’t know how many people took it in November.
i would think you have to be patient and they will get to it with results and setting up appointments/interview. It’s admin, so you know how admin is, they move at their own pace.
good luck to allLast edited by R0B0C0P; 01-15-2020, 05:41 PM.

So the application attached to the email for the panel interview asks for family that is employed by the MTA. It says it's to prevent potential conflicts of interest. Is having a family member employed by the MTA an automatic DQ?

Example: if your uncle is the commanding officer of district 6, it’s unlikely you’ll be put under his direct command.

HighwayBob just out of curiosity, do you happen to know the total amount of people who signed up for the 2019 exam? And how many of them are law enforcement? I heard it may have been as high as 12k cops. If that’s true, and the majority of them are nypd, that’s about half the entire pba!

Ny2tx...I guess some of those cops don’t like working 5 days straight...or gettin stuck with a collar on their last day...or doing Rdo overtime in the middle of manhattan for 10-12 hours...with only 2 hour sleep and 2 cups of coffee
They figure that they lateral to mtapd...grass is greener...I couldn’t imagine a top pay cop or top pay Sgt or regular sgt....doing it though...hell of a pay cut if you accustomed to a certain lifestyle...the mortgage and car ain’t gonna pay itself...imoLast edited by R0B0C0P; 01-18-2020, 02:52 PM.

R0B0C0P trust me I know the reasons behind it. Just crazy probably more than half the pba signed up for the exam if those numbers are correct. I took the 2016 test and I received my final offer. At top pay with the city, and very close to promotion. Still doing it.
