      Plenty of non-LEOs took the written exams. Non-LEO's have been called for panel interviews as well. Segurosky doesn't know what he's talking about in this regard.

      I'm a non leo and I got chosen to take the November test and got called for panel interview. I know a few other non leos that took the test in December as well.

    Segurosky3410 CT is open season for all agencies. No age limit. Most of the agencies do have residency requirements either. PoliceApp.com

      You mean DON'T have residency requirements?

      NY eliminated age limits for a few years then put them back. I think it's stupid to limit someone's age if - if they can qualify physically more power to them.

      A friend of mine got hired here during the period where there was no age limit. He went through the academy at 52 and had no problems making all the young recruits look bad in the gym.

      Many states have no age limits. If you really want to be a police officer then go to a state where age is not a factor and quality of life surpasses that of New York.

    im not LE and I was chosen to take the exam. Unfortunately I didn’t pass....

      Gotta read the forum... He already said that as of right now there’s just the November and December tests but there might be more given down the road

        There is no mystery to it. If there is a major event, crime scene, etc it belongs to Transit. How do we communicate? Easy, we are carrying Transit radios while in the subway system.
