Has anyone gotten Dutchess County admission letter yet?

No. I was thinking on giving their Human Resources a call and find out what’s going on. This exam is at the end of the week and we have no instructions.

Just called and they said the letters were sent out Thursday the 9th. If for whatever reason we don't receive anything within the next couple of days, we can call them and have it emailed to us.

I received admission letter and I was able to cross file. Received by mail Saturday.

Got my score back from Putnam. Pretty disappointed, I only got an 85... I wasn't given a list number.

I got my score as well. Got a 75, i was pretty disappointed. Lets see if they will call me

I doubt they will even get down to 85s honestly.. so many people took the exam and over 4 years I don't see them hiring that many people. They also promote their correctional officers before hiring new deputies. Hopefully I am wrong and they do call us!!

That's weird though. I got 85 and I'm #34 on the list. Did my physical back in September. From what I heard nobody scored over 95 on this test and pretty much everyone scored 85. I think they went by Social security numbers since I know 2 people that scored 85 as well and one of them is #22 while the other is #79

I am not 100% percent sure but you wont get a list number until the physical agility is complete. Just keep on training and if you haven't then get started that will knock out a lot of candidates of the list. good luck

Don't lose faith just because of your score. Stay in shape for an agility, you never know what could happen. Officers are retiring in record numbers in democrat states because of anti-police sentiment and jobs are having a harder time recruiting people

Nothing yet, we'll probably be waiting a few more months.

Not sure but I think the new Sheriff is just Sheriff-Elect right now and won't start until January. Also you already got interviewed? What did you score on the exam and what list #? That was quick.. congrats!

it was given in sept of 2020, very few knew about it

Did you take the regular test in may 2021

Yes i took the regular exam this past may. I already got my score. Just waiting to see if they are going to call me. I got a 75. But I’m currently law enforcement so let’s see what’s going to happen

for the westchester county list for them to reach 75 it could be tough, but i know on the spanish list its possible due to the low amount of candidates on that list.
