COE’s are out for what seems like 150ish list numbers. They will be processed once signed, and slotted for a projected nov academy. They will most likely process for the remaining spots (people who don’t sign or pass). Processing usually freezes for those further outside the range until the academy starts

I think they'll be sending out more COEs as people don't sign them for a village and to replace those who did sign but get DQd or go elsewhere later in the process.

I think the *rumor* was the list will be done with some time in 2024. I'd guess spring, fall, spring are the remaining classes off this list. But who knows, let's hope they keep this list around awhile.

The last time the test was given, it took a year for the scores to be released. They aren’t ready to even administer the test yet, I’m guessing this list will be valid for 1.5-2 years

Scores came out December 2018 and the list was established 6 months later in June of 2019 for the last test as well

Nassau county executive Bruce Blakeman signed off on adding 86 law enforcement personnel for fiscal year 2023.

It is going to be 36 police officers. This is considered an addition to the headcount; it is more cops on top of however many cops that were already getting hired in the planned classes. So in other words, this could be an extra class or so depending on class size.

No, +36 to the original number. (I.e. Spring 2023 is supposed to have 80, now it will be 116. These numbers are fake btw)

Fall 2023, however, would only have 80 in theory I think.

Because the additional 36 would not be on the same pace as those who are ready to retire already....that would take close to 20 years.

Some agencies, however, will offer more incentives for those who don't want to retire yet so the Academy can still keep the additional 36.

There’s no way of knowing this. Only time will tell. This depends on a multitude of variables.
