From what I’ve been hearing, further processing and list movement/new physical dates are *expected* to pick up again at the end of this month and into February. I will keep everyone posted with anything else I hear. This year is expected to have a lot of new hires- be patient and your time will come

Appreciate the continued insight. As far as your post, "Currently, up to list number 45xx is projected to be reached by early spring, and the overall cap for the 2018 list is expected to be roughly 48xx, approximately a score of 80.7xx, which should be reached by the end of the upcoming summer." Does the projection still read accurate as far as you know?

Just some insight for you guys- over the last few months between the politics of COVID/vaccines etc. and the new county administration coming into office things were slowed for a bit but the word seems to be things will be picking up significantly from now going into the spring. Many people were just scheduled for their next part of processing this past week so there should be continued movement moving forward

Does anyone know how long after you sign your COE they schedule you for poly psych and medical. Im in the high 1700s on the list so havent received a COE yet but just curious how long it generally takes. Hoping to have a chance at a Spring academy.

Hello all,
I’m just curious about a few things regarding Nassau and hoping I can get answers here.
I’m currently in the city almost 2 yrs on, I did very poorly on the last Nassau exam despite very well on NYPD, looking forward to one last kick at the can with the next exam hopefully being this year sometime.
If anyone could tell me what exactly the county is looking for in terms of answer for their “personality” section or some kind of study guide/resource to point me towards that could help I’d greatly appreciate it. I answered honestly on the last one and it obviously didn’t work.
secondly as far as moving to NCPD from NYPD is it true If you get a village job that you can skip the academy l?
thanks all for the potential help. Stay safe out there.
