He didn't go through background, I was there. It is the start of the background process where you submit your initial packet to civil service. I am a lower list number than him

Just passing along some information I was told- according to applicant processing they are seeing more physical failures and no-shows for the physicals than they have ever seen before. In other words, they will need to go down further on the list to fill classes.

Anyone who recently did the drug/fingerprint hear anything or know of anything about the next step? 86.xxx getting close to that November mark and haven’t been assigned a BI

I did my fingerprinting in mid June and havent gotten an investigator yet. I had asked when I should be hearing from someone and at the time I was told two months or so. Im hoping that means its coming very soon but I'm not sure what it means for a shot at a November academy.
