Has anyone who signed their COE 2 weeks ago received their medical dates yet? I have my poly this week but have not gotten my medical dates yet.

There is no packet. They gave us a 1 page (front and back) questioneer at our COE and told us to bring it to the poly.

Thanks for lookin out! I’ve been hearing May but I’m supposed to be in the next academy if all goes to plan but I don’t have my poly till the end of the month so if it’s in May idk how that’s even possible

As of last week I was told June 11th swear in if everything goes as planned.. This date makes sence as it gives them a little more time to finish the new academy facility and the recruits who are in now go on field training in June.

The june 11th academy is postponed. I just heard from my buddy who is a CO. The new facility has failed inspection

Wish i wasnt. I told him they said June. He said thats what it was suppose to be but they failed inspection so its not going to happen. I hope things change

I was asking my dad who is a civil engineer who has done Nassau county work for more than 30 years. He's speculating that something that deep into construction that failed inspection usually is something the fire marshal finds. He's thinking hopefully wont be long delay. Again he's just making an educated guess. Hope this works out on time

Why? The pandemic hasn't affected the hiring process. The county makes money when they give these tests.

It hasn’t? There was one class that went in and a bunch of steps and classes got cancelled due to the pandemic.

TBL24 the pandemic hasn’t affected the hiring process?? LOL there was literally 1 class to come out and its 2021. That was a silly comment. Theres usually 5-6 classes that come out from an exam
