Not bad. He/she is really just trying to get a better feel for you. No trick questions and just like everything in the process just stay consistent. Should only take 20-25 minutes.

Thank you for your help. I did speak to a psychologist, asked me many weird questions. How long does it take to find out if I passed and what's the next step?

Its not hard but its the wildcard In the process

If there is a concern, you will be notified by Civil Service to go for a level two exam with a Psychiatrist (no big deal it happens to many). If 2-3 weeks after your exam you haven't heard anything its a good sign.

How civil service works is that a decision is sworn into record on one week and then its basically signed off on the next meeting (They meet once a week),. So every decision takes at least two weeks, two meetings.

My question is at what point do they give COE. Is it before poly,psych, medical etc? At what point do villages start to interview you. Is it also after COE and before psych medical etc?

COE is before polygraph, psych, medical. You only gef interviewed by villages if you decline Nassau’s COE

No, you get interviewed by villages before Nassau's COE, you don't have to decline it. If you decline you just have more time to wait for villages to contact you because once you sign with Nassau you're off the list.

How likely is it if I just had my bi interview a month ago and waiting on poly/psych/medical to get into May academy? Physical was last March

Depends on your list number and the amount of people they decide to hire. Under list number 1,000 or so I would say has a good chance if its anything like the current class.

Probably accurate. My friend is list 16xx scored 86.4 but she deferred it again.

Finished the process a little more than a year ago but I’m deferring myself for personal reasons at the moment. I have accumulated quite a large amount of sick time in my current job. Before I transition to the county, I plan on using up my sick time. Is this something Nassau can hold against me?

Does anyone know how precincts are assigned to recruits upon graduation from the academy? Are recruits assigned random pcts?

You will fill out a dream sheet of your top 3 precincts. If you have a good enough hook you can go wherever you want. If you don’t know anybody you will go wherever the county needs.

It is very possible. When you sit down they will give you an estimate on when the academy will start.

Anybody have any insight on Nassau vs MTA? In the process for both exams and in the city currently.

Both phenomenal jobs. They do work different schedules. MTA you have much more options of living in terms of the area. Pm me

NCPD has a superior schedule hands down.
