I was going to apply for this exam but I saw that candidates must have been residents of Nassau County for at least one year from the date of applications opening. That’s pretty strict; I’m from Jersey so my plans for that are shot. I also think it sucks how even NYC and Suffolk County residents are not eligible....

Received an email about the physical exam a few days ago, have not heard about any list being established though.

Just an update, completed and passed the physical fitness today. There were a few people who showed up not in shape and did not pass.

The fact that someone failed that Agility is suprisinf- its pathetic.

Hey question? I have mine coming up... the people that failed what really got them? I had a baby a few months ago and debating if I can pass this or not

Kellyadorno615, hardest event is the situps which in reality should not be too difficult. The agility is very straight foward and is 10 seconds long , the run is 16-20 seconds, and squat thrusts for a minute. All in all it is very passable as long as you have not neglected your physical fitness for a very long time.

Current class is slated to Graduate on 9/28. They want to put a other class in immideatelt.
