  • Getting a previous case expunge, can u legally say u never got arrested

U had been arrested and charged after the case is finished and close u got it expunge, now u want to become a police officer. If your investigator ask or filling out an application and they ask have u ever been arrested, can u legally answer NO without getting DQ?

No, all arrests must be disclosed when applying for a Police Officer, Peace Officer, or pistol license in New York. No such thing as "expunged" here either

No, you can't answer "no." You really need to learn how to conjugate verbs (unless the department you are applying to doesn't require basic literacy skills).
