nypd exam #1313

Okay. I took the NYPD exam 1313 and the list just came out so I'm starting a new thread since there isn't one already.

Any idea how soon after they start sending letters for jst medical all that good stuff? Also about a two year wait for academy right? Just wondering.

As it stands, its more like a 3 year wait. I'm 1302 (August 2010) and havent heard a peep since receiving my list number back in December. Long road ahead. Along the same line of advice you will receive in this thread: get your next degree, maintain gainful and steady employment and stay out of trouble.

I'm in 1313. Just got my list number last week.
Low 400's isn't bad I suppose. Makes me wonder what my number would have been had I never left NYC (so I can claim 5 tiny little points.)

Regardless, I'll use the time to get back in shape, and pay down my debts.

I am on this list also low 600's. Three years is going to be a long wait haha. At least I hope they get to us in three years.... I feel like with those monster tests with over 6000 eligible people ahead of us, we may be waiting a long long time.

I found out from a friend of mine that said hes going to be in a July 2011 class and this class is going to be huge so the wait time should be less then three years for those on 1313.

Wats up guys 1313 900s. not thrilled with the score but more than enough just finished freshman year of college so i figured id have to wait anyway. At least i think thats the right way to do it
