It seems when I read the news, the number of OIS's and other use of force actions are being reported much more heavily then they did in previous years. A coincidence, or is crime really going up?

I think its only recently that it became relevant to you and you started paying attention to it. Crime may be going up, but from what I heard the way we handle certain situations is much different then in the past.

Plus in the past couple years cell phones became video recorders.
