Depending on how many people are in the class you may even have to share a locker with someone else. 2 people per locker, have fun with that

Can anyone explain how the first day is like? I know we will all have our own experiences, but what exactly goes down? If its anything better than the worst place ever (30th AG) then I know it will be fine. What's the food situation during the academy as well? Also, when it comes to showering, are they like basic style showers (for those that know bay showers)? I appreciate any info, thanks!

I'm not gonna go into details on the first day, I believe that is part of the experience and everyone should go through that themselves. For your other questions. 1. You get a lunch break everyday, but you have to bring you're own lunch(be mindful you have no access to a refrigeratoror a microwave so i suggest pb and js), or you can leave to get lunch at a spot near the academy. You do not have any access to showers during the academy, you will do pt and sweat throughout the day and won't be able to shower. It's gross but that's how it is

When it comes to no facial hair, is it a fresh shaved face daily? Mustache as well?

Yeah, your face must be fully shaved everyday. They even inspect your face every morning during roll call

Good luck to everyone starting the academy tomorrow. If you are one of the lucky 270 to make it into the class, I hope you give it your all, and don't give up! As hard as it may seem, you can get through it, as long as u don't quit! Don't be the one who gives up, and takes a spot from someone who could have been there in your place
