They canvassed 80 and above for JD 3 thru 8. 90 and above every where else.

I know one person that got in his rank was $16,000 he scored an 80 on the test he's in the academy now

Not sure when it will be exactly but it's most likely going to be a big class, probably 250 recruits

Doubtful, you would have a lot better chance of getting called with that # if you change your location preference to upstate (above the 9th JD)

Will admitting to past marijuana use disqualify you from getting this position? How likely are they to find out if you have lied about it on your background check?

It's not a disqualification. I'm sure it depends on what you lie about. If there is a possibility of any record for example a past arrest that never went to court, they may be able to find that out if there was any sort of police report filed. Just be as honest as possible, you're not going to not get the job as long as you are aware of your past mistakes and take ownership of them

I received my psych clearance letter on 1/12/23 (written on 11/29/22 and oral on 12/14/22) and just waiting on background and evaluation to finish up. I'm going for upstate so I hope everything passes before the April Academy starts

If its for upstate I would say the likelihood is pretty good! I was shocked on how many showed up to the PAT unprepared, sleeping on their fitness and dropping like flies.
