Did anybody else take this state exam and received their scores? I scored well but I was wondering what the outlook is like for this position? I did some research and it seems like there are not many positions open. Any details about this position is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I took the exam a few years back. Although they listed me as #3 in the state I never got a call. From what I understand, it's an unarmed position and, although you are a peace officer, agency policy prohibits you from making an arrest. That, combined with the low pay, doesn't leave a very positive impression.

I have been out on details with the Liquor Authority. The Investigator does not carry a firearm, nor do they make arrests. They will issue an appearance ticket for violation of the ABC law to bussiness owners who violate the conditions of the liquor license.
