    Im under the assumption that if you arent a resident of Yonkers youll have a hard time getting called. Residents get preference.

    Not sure about he hours. The cops have always seem somewhat relaxed to me.

    I would say it would be a great opportunity and don't pass it up.

    Yonkers does have its bad areas. South Yonkers to be specific. There a few nasty projects. South broadway, Ashburton Ave, Locust Hill ave, new main st, nepperhan ave, Park av(Schlobaum projects) are all streets to mostly avoid. I grew up in Yonkers, and go back almost every weekend. The only thing that has really changed in the bad areas is the pier. Otherwise the rest of yonkers is very nice.
