Along with everything else you guys have to do now they want you to do blood draws for DWI while not a BAd idea This is just going to expose the officers to another area of liability for some money pig lawyer to exploit.... I can see the drunks now the officer put the needle in wrong and now I can't feel my hand.

Im sure they mean that the subject will have to be taken to a Hosptial, where a nurse will do the withdrawal and not an officer ( not licensed to do so ).Thats how it works on my side of the Hudson. they'll have to have nurses, lpn's, medics etc do that. officers dont have the quals to stick anyone!
