Suffolk County does not require College Credits. They usually get about 30,000 Applicants, so your chances are... pretty low.

CRS - the Parkway Police were merged into the Sheriff's dept in 1985. No such agency exists. Its Westchester County Police.

Wrong, there are plenty of other Departments, such as Nassau County, that require college credits. I wish they all did.

I think the majority of departments in NY now require 60 college credits or military service to be appointed to a full time position.

Because college makes someone a better Officer

bxhousing: In my experience, it's been quite the opposite. Most dept's DONT require college or military.
